Ingredients

1 quart pineapple juice

1 cup soy sauce

juice of 2 fresh lemons

2 inch piece of fresh ginger, crushed

6 cloves garlic, crushed

2/3 teaspoon aniseed

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

combile all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate. strain after at least 1 hour or better yet, over night.
