Ingredients
2 lbs chicken
1 Tbs cumin
1 Tbs tumeric
salt
pepper
2 large onions
28 oz can of chunky crushed tomatoes
1/2 c chicken broth
1 c pitted prunes, diced
2 Tbs honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
sesame seeds
couscous
Preparation
coat chicken in salt, pepper, cumin and tumeric and brown in olive oil, remove to plate
brown onions, cut in wedges in same pan until transparent and golden
add to chicken and onions: tomatoes, chicken broth, prunes, honey and cinnamon and simmer for 20 minutes
sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over couscous
