Ingredients

1t sugar

1t granulated garlic

1/2t coarse salt

1/4t turmeric

1/4t ground ginger

1/4t ground cinnamon

1/4t ground nutmeg

1 cup shelled pistachios

1 1/2T vegetable oil

2T diced dried apricots

2T diced dates

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 and place rack in center. Mix first seven ingredients in a medium size bowl. Add pistachios and oil and toss until well coated. Spread nuts on a baking sheet and bake uncovered for five minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning. When cool, transfer to medium sized bow and stir in dried fruit.
