Ingredients

3 cups sugar

7 Tablespoons cocoa

3/4 cup milk

1/2 stick butter

3 teaspoons white Karo syrup

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 pinch salt

1 cup peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Put everything in boiler except vanilla.
  2. Bring to a hard boil then stir once - do not keep stirring. (recipe ended here)
  3. Spread mixture into pan lined with wax paper.
  4. Let cool completely.
  5. Cut into small pieces.
