Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 cups butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
3-5 cups oats
2 large bags chocolate chips, or two large chocolate bars cut into chunks
3 cups nuts (optional)
Preparation
Cream sugars and buttars. Add eggs. Add salt, baking powder, soda, and vanilla. Stir in flour and oats, then chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Refrigerate over night.
Mold into golf ball size balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart, press slightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool before removing from baking sheet.
