Ingredients

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, diced

1 green pepper, chopped finely

1 pound hamburger

4 teaspoon curry (double if you like)

1/2 teaspoon, more or less of the following:

dried dill

dried basil

dried parsley

tobasco sauce (or cayenne)

salt

pepper

garlic powder

1-2 cups of leftover gravy (KFC gravy works really well)or roast beef gravy

1 can of cream of mushroom soup, or sauted mushrooms and 1 1/2 cups thickening white sauce

3 tablespoons ketchup

2 cups tomatoe juice, or crushed whole canned tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar or honey

Preparation

Saute the onions, celery and green pepper until soft. Remove from pan and fry the hamburger till browned. Add the vegetables back in and the rest of the ingredients. Allow to simmer for half an hour. Serve on steamed rice with the following toppings: Bowls of shredded coconut, raisens, and salted peanuts.
