Ingredients

1 Premium Pie Crust

1/3 C cheese (Swiss works well with mushrooms) 3 Eggs 1 C Milk Filling 1 T Butter 8 oz Mushrooms sliced ½ t Thyme ½ t Garlic Powder

Preparation

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms with the thyme and garlic powder. Line a traditional pie pan with the crust crimping or decorating the edges as you see fit. Cover the bottom of the crust with and even layer of cheese. Pour the mushrooms over the cheese. Beat the eggs and milk and pour over the mushrooms. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out cleanly. If you have more than one quiche in the oven it may take longer.
